Kate Lycett - Catch Your Breath
Original media: Inks, gouache, acrylics, pencils, watercolour, gold leaf and gold thread
A beautiful bright October day in Whitby. The Town busy with lots of people tramping up the steps. As I stopped to take some pictures I listened to all the chatter; "I need to stop and catch my breath!", "I am so unfit!" - while children were loudly counting up to 199 at the top. This painting is part of the 'Big Skies & Old Stones' collection for Chantry House Gallery, Ripley. From May 20th 2017.
Available to buy as a mounted and signed limited edition print. Hand-finished with gold leaf and gold thread.
